September's Bordeaux

Blue Faced Leicester Silk 55% SW BFL/ 45% Silk is a very soft yarn which is not itchy or scratchy next to the skin (100gram - 400meters). 
BFL wool has natural elasticity which helps a garment stretch yet return back to its original shape while also being warm and soft to touch. The silk gives it a shiny smooth lustre that feels soft and luxurious to work with. 
It is a wonderful super soft luxurious yarn to knit shawls, hats, mittens or other projects.
Hand-dyed using acid dye, hand dyed yarns are unique but they can differ, even if they had the same dye bath.  
Hand wash using a wool detergent ideally below 30⁰C, avoid wringing and twisting. Dry flat, do not sun dry, spin or tumble dry. 
Because  the yarn is hand-dyed there is a possibility that it will bleed, advise it to wash separately.
